Hi there! Author here. Numbers are from the Gaon chart, which you can see below. Definitely should have mentioned, but the numbers are correct as of publication. Love Herself: Her domestic sales have risen since.

Its hilarious how the domestic sales numbers you have for BTS is actually EXO's sales numbers. Also do you guys not know how to site your sources for info? How can you back yourself and numbers and info up if you do not site your sources. I think there needs to be some retraining on journalism.

Great article. I found it via reddit's korea subreddit. Apparently these night markets are spreading across the country...I live in Daegu where the biggest (not really all that traditional but kind of still) market Seomun Shijang started it night market I guess it was a little over a year ago and it is busy every night..pretty much focussed on food, and judging by your article here, it is far bigger with way more choices of food than anything in Seoul...probably around 100 different vendors with all kinds of fusion, foreign, and some korean items, all freshly made to order. They also have some entertainment and other odds and ends...if you get there early enough you could even do some actual shopping. Seomun market has a history of something like 400 years (probably much longer in fact) and to this day sees a lot of commerce for clothing, fabrics, household goods, foods, and more, and is locally famous for lunchtime foods too...many Daegu citizens and tourists come there every day and it is always crowded.

Nice article. For those interested, there are quite a few places in Itaewon with a single pool table and a more drink-oriented atmosphere. Some places I enjoyed, other than the ones mentioned in the article, include Dolce Vita, Shenanigans, JJ's, and Seoul Pub. These are all mostly easygoing places with OK tables, though some of them have pretty worn equipment and cues (particularly Seoul Pub). Dolce Vita and Shenanigans are my personal favourites, as they have pretty fair drink pricing (starting around 4000 I think) and friendly staff. Seoul Pub isn't the best equipped, with a table in pretty bad shape and a poor price/quality balance on drinks, but does get some skilled regular pool players.
