I lived in Yeongam for two years as a Peace Corps volunteer (78 - 80) and fondly remember Wolchulsan. I have hiked every inch of the mountains and still remember the trails. While you are in Yeongam make sure that you visit the Yeongam Pottery Museum. At one point in time Yeongam was home to some of the finest made pottery in all of Korea. Take the time, the spirits of the mountain will appreciate it.
