Right next to Bongwonsa is one of the most authentic 숯가마s in Seoul. Called 'Hanbang Supsok Land' it has a jjimjilbang as well as a well equipped bath house. The main attraction though are the charcoal furnaces, where wood is burned to make charcoal in a furnace one day and the next the charcoal is removed and the heat that remains in the space inside makes the perfect very hot dry sauna (socks and towel are a must as the floor is very hot). Its a good way to look after your muscles after a hike around ansan.

Also the 7024 bus leaves from right outside Bongwonsa and will take you back into the more bustling areas of the city.
