More Sponsors Join Seoul Selection's End-of-Year Potlatch
More Sharing, More Fun!

Myeong-dong's historic Astoria Hotel has joined the list of generous sponsors donating gifts to Seoul Selection's end-of-the-year Potlatch (Dec 4, 6pm to 9pm), a festival of sharing that will bring together Seoul's expat community, readers of SEOUL magazine, and Seoul Selection's long-standing supporters and patrons. Astoria will be providing a meal voucher to its acclaimed New York-style Italian eatery, Bella Coolla 63. Also newly joining our Potlatch's team of sponsors is beauty salon Eunha BNC, which will provide a 100,000-won hair styling service certificate and two 50,000-won certificates, and the renowned samulnori performance troupe Noreum Machi will delight audiences with a 15-minute show during the three-hour festivity at the Korean Publishers Association Building auditorium in Sagan-dong, Seoul. Leading publishing house Open Books will also donate 50 copies of two titles, including a Korean translation of the best-selling French writer Bernard Werber.

See last week's newsletter for more information on our end-of-the-year Potlatch celebration and the festivity program.

The tour will take participants to Nagan Folk Village, the tea plantations of Boseong, Daegu Myeon Ceramic Kilns and the historic town of Gangjin. Cost: 188,000 won for members and 208,000 won for nonmembers. More Information: Click here.
